Dr. Sandra Kaufmann

Dr. Kaufmann began her academic journey in cellular biology, earning a Master’s from the University of Connecticut before turning to medicine. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Maryland, she completed her residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins in pediatric anesthesiology. For the last five years, she has served as the Chief of Pediatric Anesthesia at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a nationally recognized center of excellence, and was recently named “Best in Medicine” by the American Health Council.
Her long-standing interest in the science of anti-aging began as an intense study of cell biology, human pharmacology, and physiology. This passion has evolved into her primary focus, representing years of non-clinical research that led to the first comprehensive theory of aging.
